Meet our 10-year-old Siamese, Cato!
Cato is quite the definition of his breed. Despite his age, he is still full of energy and especially full of noise! He isn’t afraid to demand attention from you or let you know that you have left him alone in his pod without anyone to cuddle.
This gentleman came to us as his owner had died. Since being with us, he has had no problems settling in and he has gotten along well with every person he has met – that is only if they don’t stop fussing him. We have found in the cattery that he has a bit of an attitude problem if you ignore him and refuse to fuss him. He will climb on your lap and bop you in the face to tell you to get to work giving him some fuss.
Cato loves having all the attention on him, he also loves having a good brush. As well as affection, he also enjoys playing with toys with you – especially teaser toys.
Cato can use his cat flap and is litter trained. He can have a bit of a sensitive stomach which could be linked to his Siamese breed – he needs a home with owners experienced in this breed, or someone who has done their research!
Cato would be able to live alongside cat-savvy children aged 12+, however there should be no other pets in the home. To the best of our knowledge, Cato has been an indoor cat and much prefers to be inside. At his age, it would be harder for him to learn the common sense required to be outdoors, although he may be happy to explore the garden with you!
