Dilly is an approximately 1-year-old domestic shorthair who has been gaining confidence more each day in the cattery. She may greet you with a little vocal hello when you approach and often relaxes on her cat tree, watching the world go by.

She can take a moment to decide if she’d like fuss, but once you start stroking her, she absolutely loves it! Gentle head strokes and long strokes down her body are her favourite, and she’ll purr contentedly while wriggling around enjoying the attention. She also loves a good brush. Dilly is good for vet checks, though she’s a little unsure about having her paws touched, and while she can be picked up briefly, she prefers not to be held for long.

With new people, she just needs a minute to sniff and assess before happily accepting fuss. She hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet but may become more playful once settled in a home.

Dilly is looking for a patient, loving home that will let her settle at her own pace and enjoy affection on her terms. 🐾

Previously described as “independent” in her previous home, Dilly has lived with another young cat before and may be able to do so again with slow introductions. She could also live with sensible children aged 10+, but no dogs as she hasn’t experienced them one on one.
