Hillary and Henrietta are 2 very sweet but shy 14 week old kittens who spend most of their day together either in bed relaxing or outside their pod watching the world go by from their cat tree. Unlike their sister Harlequin, they are not as confident with meeting new people and accepting physical touch and affection. When you go very slow with interacting and introducing yourself to them, they will accept some gentle fuss off you but they are still learning to enjoy it.
With a little patience and gentle actions these two will warm up to you but will choose to spend their time alone or close to their sibling. With the right home, and giving them the space that they need for the first week or so of introducing them to a new home; these two will slowly start to gain confidence. It is important to take things at their pace so that they will trust and make bonds with their adopters.
As they are still relatively young, it is likely that with enough time and patience, these two will slowly turn into affectionate and confident kittens.
A suitable home would be a household that consists of people who understand boundaries and aren’t expecting a very cuddly kitten as they can still be a little nervous with new people. We are hoping that within a home they will settle much more and come out of their shell and become more confident with reassurance that they find comfort with staying together as a pair.
These two will likely be able to live with another cat friendly cat and potentially a dog that is calm and used to other cats and will be respectful and give them the space that they need.
These girls would be able to live with calm, cat-savvy children over the age of 10.
