Meet Kitty Cat. Our ten-year-old gentleman who proves you should never judge a book by its cover.
With his permanently grumpy expression, you’d be forgiven for thinking he’s a serious soul - but the truth couldn’t be more different. Kitty Cat is incredibly sweet and has become a firm favourite with staff and volunteers. The moment you open his pod door, he’s there waiting, ready to draw you in for company.
He is the biggest sucker for fuss. As soon as you stroke him, he purrs away (and can’t help a little drool!), making biscuits with pure contentment. He absolutely loves ear scratches and head rubs and is a proper lap cat who enjoys nothing more than sitting on your knee. He also enjoys being brushed, which is perfect as his long coat will need daily grooming.
We have found that in the cattery setting, he really struggles being left alone, and is often crying out for attention. Because of this, he would benefit from having someone around most of the day with him.
He previously lived with another cat and could do so again with slow introductions. We feel a calm home, possibly with children 12+, would suit him best. He wouldn’t want to live with a dog.
Behind that frown is the softest, most loving companion just waiting for his forever home. 🐾
