Meet 3 year old handsome boy, Shadow.

Shadow was originally brought to us as a stray who was trying to get into houses where he had been fed.

We took him in here but it soon became clear that he did not enjoy being confined in the cattery pods so was sent to a foster home. Initially he was a bit timid and nervous, having not been kept indoors before but after a few days, Shadow did come out and start to interact, coming over for strokes when he felt ready. We feel that once he is established in his forever home, he will definitely need access to go outside. Due to having been a stray for some time, he may never become a lap cat but he is loyal in his own special way. He is also very food orientated and this may well be the way to his heart! As a result, we feel that he would do well in a home where he will have an established feeding routine so that he learns where his new home is. Whilst he was in the cattery, he showed that he is good with other cats, having a soft spot for kittens with whom he is remarkably patient!

We feel that Shadow could live with children aged 10+ who will understand that everything has to happen on Shadow’s terms. He could also possibly live with a cat savvy dog.
