We are looking for a super special home for our Pomeranian-Chihuahua who really deserves to find her perfect match.

Say hello to Cookie, at a tiny 3kgs, Cookie has had to deal with a whole lot on her tiny shoulders.

After not having the greatest start in her life and carrying some trauma from this, Cookie can find trusting people difficult. She can find certain situations overwhelming and her foster home throughout the past 3 months have worked a lot with her on this. She still has a long way to go to forgetting her past and relaxing into a safe and secure home but we are sure that with the right home she can get there.

Cookie’s ideal home would be one without other dogs or with 1 kind, calm dog in the household. She has been around cats briefly and there was little to no reaction so Cookie could possibly live with a dog savvy cat.

Her home would ideally be with someone who lives alone, with a quieter lifestyle that can offer Cookie a safe space to call her own.

She enjoys her walks and she does walk well on her lead and is not reactive when out and about. She will need continued support to learn that having her lead attached is safe.

She is toilet trained and she can be left for appropriate amounts of time. She sleeps overnight in her own special safe crate.

We feel her adopter would benefit from experience of dogs overcoming trauma and her new home must be one without children.
