Morgan has been in a loving foster home since he was 8 weeks old, where he has lived with his brother, two adult dogs, two cats, and children. This has given him a great start in life and helped him experience a busy family environment.
Morgan is friendly and affectionate with people he knows, although he can be a little reserved when meeting new people and may need a few minutes to warm up. He can also be slightly wary of loud noises, but his confidence is growing every day. He is crate trained and sleeps happily in his crate overnight.
Like many puppies, Morgan is still learning about the world and will need his adopters to continue his training, socialisation, and confidence-building. He is currently sick when travelling in the car, so this will need gentle, positive work in his new home.
At 16 weeks old, Morgan weighs around 10kg, but as his mum weighs over 40kg, he is likely to grow into a large and powerful adult. His adopters should be prepared for the commitment of raising a giant breed puppy and ideally have experience of guarding breeds, or be willing to research and understand the characteristics often associated with Cane Corso-type dogs.
Morgan could live with or without another dog and may be able to live with confident, dog-savvy cats. He would be best suited to a home with children of secondary school age or older.
Morgan is a lovely boy with lots of potential and is looking for a committed family to help him grow into a confident and well-rounded adult dog.
The adoption fee for Morgan is £500.
