This is Isla, our sweet 10-month old girl looking for a patient and understanding home where she will be able to gain trust in humans again!

Isla has been a worried girl since being in our care, but we believe with a little patience she will be a great companion. She is still young, and this age usually means they are very adaptable to new experiences! Isla will need her own space in a home to be able to decompress and settle properly, with continued socialisation every day to make her realise the world is not as scary as she thinks!

Our amazing volunteers and staff have been able to spend lots of quality time with Isla, and she has been adoring the attention and fuss that comes from her being a big brave girl and coming out to explore whilst people are around. We are sure that with lots of patience she will come around to be a big softy.
We have also had other cats from the same place all of a similar age which are presumably Isla’s siblings, who were all very friendly and sweet cats, so we do believe in time that Isla will take after her relatives.
Isla would be able to live alongside another cat, as long as introductions are done slowly, ensuring she has had a bit of time to settle first. There should be no dogs in the home. She may also live alongside children, as long as they are aged 12+, as they will need to understand her boundaries and the space she will require at first.
