Sophie is a beautiful 3-year-old black and white girl with a gentle and loving nature. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but with a bit of patience - and the help of some tasty treats - she soon shows her true personality. Once Sophie feels comfortable, she’ll happily come over to say hello, purring away, rubbing against you, and soaking up any fuss and attention on offer.

Sophie enjoys a calm lifestyle and can often be found relaxing or snoozing in her cat tree, where she feels safe and content. She does enjoy playtime too, especially with teaser toys, which bring out her playful side in short bursts.

While Sophie doesn’t particularly enjoy being picked up, she will tolerate it briefly before making her wish to be back on the ground known. She’s good at communicating her boundaries and would suit someone who understands and respects typical cat behaviour. She is confident using both a cat flap and litter trays.

We feel Sophie would thrive best as the only pet in the home, where she can have all the attention to herself. She would be suitable for a household with cat-savvy children aged 10 and over who understand when to give her space. Most importantly, Sophie is looking for patient, understanding owners who will give her the time she needs to settle in and feel secure in her new environment.

In return, Sophie will reward you with gentle affection, happy purrs, and the quiet companionship of a truly lovely cat.
