Meet Basil, our 1-year-old Pug cross who is looking for his forever home!

Basil is a friendly and very happy little dog, who has tonnes of energy! He loves doing zoomies around our paddocks, as well as exploring new areas and foraging.

Basil loves to be around humans, accepting cuddles and fuss from anyone he can! He can be a little excitable, jumping up at times however hopefully this will settle down a bit once he is in a home environment. Basil walks well on a lead – he pulls slightly, however we are sure in a relaxed environment, he will be an even better walker!

He is intelligent and has picked up some basic commands here at the centre, so we are sure he will pick up more as time goes on in a home.

Due to Basil’s long hair, he will need brushing regularly to prevent matting!

Basil has previously lived with dogs and cats. He could be rehomed alongside a compatible friendly dog, as long as introductions go well here at the centre. He could also live alongside a dog-savvy cat! Basil has lived with children before, and we believe he will do best alongside children aged 10 and above.
