Hermione is a 2-year-old terrier cross who arrived with us feeling shy and nervous, but with time she has grown in confidence and is beginning to trust those around her. Once she knows you, she will happily initiate contact and show her friendly, playful side.

She can be a little unsure around new people and unfamiliar noises, so slow introductions and gentle encouragement are important, especially when walking on the lead. Hermione enjoys her food and treats and loves spending time out of her kennel, particularly running around the sensory garden with her kennel mate.

Hermione has lived with dogs before and could possibly live with another small dog following successful introductions at the centre. She cannot live with a cat. She is looking for a quiet home where she won’t be left for long periods, with adopters who will let her go at her own pace. She could live with dog-savvy children aged 12+.
