Meet Izzy our stunning 11-year-old lady who simply doesn’t act or look her age!
Izzy came back to us after her original owner had sadly gotten ill. She lived with this owner for almost her entire life as she was just a kitten when she was adopted.
Izzy is a very sweet and affectionate lady who despite her quite grumpy appearance actually loves to see you approach her. She loves attention and enjoys a good brush.
She didn’t take too long to settle into the cattery life but she did pace her pod vocalising for the first few hours whilst she found her footing in the new place.
She loves spending times with volunteers and staff alike and is often found having a cat nap in different places around her pod, but as soon as you enter to come and give her some attention she perks up and is ready for all the loving to begin!
In terms of handling and picking her up, it depends what mood she is in as to whether she is content being in your arms being fussed or whether she does not want to be picked up at all. But by reading her body language it is easy to pick up on what mood she is in.
She knows how to use her cat flap and she is fully litter trained.
She would prefer to live as the only pet and would be able to live with children who are in secondary school.
