Onyx is a shy boy at first who can be super affectionate as his confidence grows with people. He is very gentle, both with staff and volunteers here and with his brother Jasper. He spends his time relaxing in his bed or playing with Jasper or his toys. Tunnels, plastic toys, soft toys, Onyx loves them all!

He is still learning how to play with humans, but this is to be expected, and he is very curious about people which is positive. We think his shyness will reduce when he is settled in his new home, as he is yearning for snuggles but still too shy to completely initiate these. Due to Onyx needing a gentle hand he would possibly be well suited to a home with couples or more senior people, but could also be rehomed to families with children over 5 years old.

Onyx would not be suitable to live with dogs, but would be happy to live with other cats. He can be rehomed by himself or with his brother Jasper, who is also up for adoption. Onyx is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
