North West Animal Group (NWAG) Behaviour & Welfare Adviser
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual for a new role supporting RSPCA branches across the North West.
This is an interesting and unique opportunity to work with dogs in five RSPCA branch animal centres (Blackpool, Lancashire East, Preston, Southport and Warrington) which together form part of the RSPCA’s North West Animal Group (NWAG).
Whilst working across the five NWAG branches that rehabilitate and rehome dogs rescued by the RSPCA inspectorate, the post holder will be formally contracted to the RSPCA Southport, Ormskirk & District Branch and managed by that Branch’s Chief Executive Officer.
RSPCA branches are separately registered & self funded charities affiliated to the national RSPCA and the successful individual will therefore be employed by the Branch not the national charity.
This is a full-time role (37½ hours/week) and the initial appointment is for a two year fixed-term contract. The salary will be within the range £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
The post holder will be home based with extensive travel to the above branches and, on occasion, more widely across the North West.
