Coco is a young, friendly and very playful Dachshund looking for his forever home. Coco is 11 months old.

He is an excitable little boy who loves people and craves company and interaction. He will happily whine or bark to let you know when he wants attention, so he would prefer a home where someone is around for most of the day.

Coco enjoys meeting new people, although he can be a little unsure at first. Have some treats ready, though, and you’ll soon win him over!

He is an active boy who enjoys his walks and gets very excited to head out, sometimes pulling initially. As he is still young, he will need plenty of age-appropriate exercise without overdoing it. He also loves puzzles and brain games, which are a great way to keep his clever mind busy and prevent boredom.

Coco is intelligent and can be a little wilful at times. He knows what he wants and needs owners who will give him time to explore, sniff and investigate. He is a loyal and loving boy but also has an independent side and plenty of those classic Dachshund quirks!

Coco would suit experienced Dachshund owners who can provide plenty of companionship, enrichment and guidance. He could potentially live with another dog following successful introductions at the centre and could live with dog-savvy children aged 10+.

With the right home, Coco will make a wonderful and entertaining companion. ❤️🐾
