Jellybean, or Jelly, is a beautiful Bloodhound cross of unknown breed who has really blossomed during her time in RSPCA care.

When she arrived, Jelly was timid and unsure of her surroundings and new people. After three weeks, her confidence has grown and her gentle personality is shining through. She is affectionate and friendly, although she can take a little time to become comfortable with new people. She is good to handle and walks well on her lead.

Jelly is a large, strong dog who could pull if distracted. She can also be vocal when expressing herself, which is a known Bloodhound trait.

She has lived happily with children aged 14+ and cats. She hasn't lived with another dog but has played nicely with a gentle female Poodle cross. She can be sensitive around other dogs, so another compatible dog could potentially be considered following careful introductions.

Jelly's ideal home 🏡
• An experienced owner familiar with Bloodhounds or scent-driven breeds
• A family or couple where she won't be left for long periods
• An active home able to meet her high exercise and enrichment needs
• Children aged 14+
• Potentially another compatible dog
• Jellybean has previously lived with cats so a dog savvy cat could be considered
• A secure garden and patient, consistent training

Bloodhounds need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Jelly would particularly enjoy scent work or man trailing, allowing her to use her natural abilities while having fun with her family.

Jelly is a gentle girl who has already made wonderful progress. She is now looking for an experienced, loving home where she can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy life. ❤️🐾
