Polly is a sweet 10-year-old girl who is finally looking for her forever home!

Polly has been in our care for a while now, as she was taken from a situation of severe neglect. She has been in foster care, learning the life of a well-loved pet dog and what true love feels like!

Polly has proven to be a very sweet and friendly girl despite her terrible past. She is a golden oldie, however due to her working breed she will still need an active lifestyle to meet her needs. She will be a lovely addition to someone’s home and will make a charming companion. She loves attention and fuss, and she would happily sit next to you on the sofa all day long if she could!

Polly travels well in a car and loves to go out for a walk. She doesn’t have much drive to play with toys just yet, but she occasionally likes to carry around a stuffed teddy.

Polly has lived with other dogs in the past, but due to the fact she doesn’t enjoy when dogs get up in her face on her walks, we would say she would be best suited to a home where she can be the only dog, and receive all of the solo love and attention she deserves. She has not been tested with cats so we are unsure how she would react, so we would say no to cats too. Polly could live alongside children at a primary school age, ages 5 and above.
