Roscoe came to the Centre after being rescued from an environment where he had sadly experienced cruelty and neglect. Despite his difficult start, his lovely personality has continued to shine through from the moment he arrived.

Roscoe is a large crossbreed, possibly a Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, and he certainly has the handsome looks of both breeds. He is a big, strong boy who generally walks well on his lead, although he can be strong at times, so he will need someone who is confident and comfortable handling a larger dog.

Roscoe has met both male and female dogs and has got along well with them. He could potentially live with a compatible dog, although we feel a female would be the best match. Roscoe cannot live with cats.

Roscoe is affectionate, friendly and loving, and we believe there is so much more of his personality waiting to come out. We feel that once he is in a home where he feels safe, secure and truly loved, Roscoe will continue to blossom.

Roscoe is looking for an adult-only home, ideally with one person or a couple who can give him the time, patience, stability and affection he deserves. He needs a calm and secure environment where he can settle at his own pace and continue to build his confidence.

Roscoe will need an understanding home that recognises the impact his past has had on him. With patience, kindness and consistency, we believe he can continue to learn that he is finally safe and loved.

After everything Roscoe has been through, he really deserves the chance to experience the loving forever home he has been waiting for. ❤️
