Introducing Spencer, a 5-month old Cane Corso crossbreed puppy, already weighing in at around 20kg and looking for a committed and caring home to call his own.

Spencer came to us when he was abandoned with his mum and his siblings at just 4 weeks old. He was lucky enough to go into a foster home where he has been since he was old enough to be away from his mum. He has been living with 2 children, and other dogs. He is toilet trained and will go to the back door when he needs to go out. He travels very well and he has been crate trained while in the home which he copes very well with. Spencer walks nicely on his lead and with the right training going forward, is well on his way to being a well-balanced and well behaved dog. Spencer likes to go on walks and explore but can settle once at home. We are looking for adopters who have some knowledge and/or experience of large guarding breeds who can continue his training and socialising.

Spencer's mum is a 40kg dog so Spencer is likely to grow into a large and powerful adult. His adopters should be prepared for the commitment of raising a giant breed puppy and ideally have experience of guarding breeds, or be willing to research and understand the characteristics often associated with Cane Corso-type dogs.

Spencer’s ideal home would be one either as an only dog or with a calm, steady adult dog who can cope with a large breed puppy. A home with either no children or children aged 10 or older. And again, either no cats or cats who are used to a large breed and could cope with a puppy.

The adoption fee for Spencer is £500.

Spencer is:
Fully Vaccinated (Booster due May 2027)

Up to date with flea and worm prevention

Has been health checked by a vet and has had no concerns raised

Will be rehomed with a neuter voucher to contribute towards the cost of the procedure when he is old enough.
